Malton Food Lovers Market - Malton’s Regular Indoor Food Market!
Inside the Milton Rooms on Saturday 3rd March 2012 (9 am – 2.30 pm)
Special in March: Stephanie Moon cooking on our new demo stage! Tasting Table will be eggs done a dozen ways. Hens, ducks and quails eggs galore… cluck cluck!
Free Entry * Free Parking
March will see the return of the more regular indoor market for Yorkshire Food Lovers. As before visitors can sample the best produce local to Malton and what produce! The food will be local, seasonal and delicious. Customers can shop in warmth and comfort as it’s all inside. Come and see whether we have achieved our aim of creating the best ‘high quality food market’ in Yorkshire.

Each month we will have a guest chef cooking on the demonstration stage and a different theme on the tasting table. In March we are delighted to welcome Stephanie Moon, star of BBC’s Great British Menu who will be giving cooking tips and showing how to make the best of all the superb food.
The Tasting table this month will be a celebration of EGGS. There will be hens, ducks and quails eggs cooked every way imaginable! The tasting table is masterminded by the brilliant Sophie Legard of Malton Relish. With free entry it is not something to miss!

As it was so busy with well over 2500 people for our debut market in November we have had a look at the layout and have made more space for stalls and customers alike so shopping and eating should be easier!
Parking is also free in the Market Place.
The Milton Rooms, centrally located in Malton’s historic market place will provide a stunning backdrop to the delicious offerings. Producers and shoppers alike can enjoy this indoor event in warmth and comfort.
The Malton Food Lovers Market and We Love Malton events continue to be initiated, managed, financed and supported by Malton Amenity CIC.
Both the food lovers market and festival place Malton in central position as the northern hub of artisanal and organic produce, as well as being such a pretty and historical market town. (The Foodie Bugle, Nov 2011)
