Visitors:
Parking is free in the central Market Place (courtesy of Fitzwilliam Malton Estate) and on the Livestock Market. Alternatively there is parking on Wentworth Street Car Park just a 5 minute walk from the Milton Rooms. Further information on parking can be found on Ryedale District Council’s website.
Stallholders:
Parking is also free and is off Yorkersgate in front of Owstons Warehouse. There will be signs to it from Yorkersgate. Stallholders are not allowed to park in the central Market Place.
Travel To Malton
By Road: The main access to Malton from the South is along the A64 from York. From the North take either the A169 from Pickering or the A64 from Scarborough.
By Rail: There is a fast and efficient direct train service to Malton on the Scarborough – York – Leeds – Manchester line. From London Kings Cross and the South there are good connections at York. For travellers from further North the best connections are also made at York.
By Bus: There are bus services from York and Scarborough, Pickering and Helmsley. Coach parking can be accommodated in the Market Square.
By Air: The nearest airport is Leeds Bradford International which is 70 minutes by car, or by train direct from Leeds to Malton.
Disabled toilets can be found in the Market Place behind the Tourist Information Centre. Disabled car parking spaces can be found in the Market Place and Wentworth Street Car parks.
